Main Street School of the Arts offers yoga classes in a unique community setting and welcoming atmosphere. Our classes are for everyone, from beginners to experienced yogis, men and women, all body shapes, all ages, and all fitness levels.
The teachers will adjust poses with appropriate modifications to accomodate all levels of yoga practictioners. Please bring your own mat.
Got kids? Drop them off at the Saturday art class and treat yourself to a yoga class AT THE SAME TIME!

* Yin Yoga is a style of yoga with longer holds to allow you to calm your mind and stretch your body. Postures are held from 1- 3 minutes and focus on hip openers.

Laurie Morrison (a.k.a. the Art Genie of Main Street School of the Arts) has a passion for yoga that has spanned more than 20 years. She is VERY excited to add yoga classes to all of the other fun we are having at the studio!

MEET OUR YOGA INSTUCTORS:
Paige Hills Lievano
I found my way to yoga as stress relief while managing a large retail showroom in 2007. As an interior designer, I soon realized that the more I could be present and focus on the mat, the better my projects turned out, so my love of the process began.
I combine a focus on physical alignment with a playful, lighthearted approach. I invite my students to not take the process so seriously and be more accepting of our own selves, taking the sweet with the sour.
My approach is simple: Show up. Do the work. Repeat. Every day is new.
I am a Gounded Kids (TM) trainer, I was certified in 2013 under Cheryl Crawford and Amy Haysmen. I received my 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in the Hatha yoga style, at Decatur Yoga and Pilates, studying under Joe Palese.
I am a wife and mother in Lilburn. I started my practice while living in Tucker, driving every day to Decatur, I'm now happy to be teaching in Tucker where it all began!
Sarah has been a student of yoga for years. Seeing how yoga therapy helped her recover from a knee injury proved to her just how beneficial yoga can be for healthy ageing. This led her to want to study yoga more in-depth and become a yoga instructor. She has her 200 hour certification under Sue Hopkins and is currently working on her yoga therapy certification, so she can help others with healthy aging.
Sarah's goal is to have her students walk away from class feeling better than when they started. Her classes typically have a theme like: healthy backs, building a stronger core, hip opening, shoulder opening, or better balance.
Start on your journey to healthy aging with yoga and see how it can positively impact your life! No prior yoga experience required. The classes can be modified for all skill and stiffness levels.
Luke Dreiling began his fitness journey in high school, where he became proficient in ballet, jazz, and modern dance. While attending (trade school) he became certified in Power Pilates and taught in Toronto. He took a few years to focus on his acting career, but became a licensed massage therapist. After obtaining his personal training certification, he then took his 200-hour Yoga certification from Frog Lotus in Massachusetts. He followed that by collecting Pilates trainings, eventually earning his Comprehensive Pilates certification from Balanced Body studios. He is also certified in TRX, barre, and Jung Shin.
Luke's style of teaching is inspired by Iyangar practices, focusing on proper form and holding poses. His students can feel secure to explore full expressions of the pose as Luke actively assists and corrects form.
