About Our Birthday Teacher
Amanda Rempe is an event coordinator with a variety of creative skills up her sleeves. A graduate of the University of Georgia, she worked the corporate gig as a project manager in the market research industry. After starting a family, she turned her efforts toward the intrinsic rewards of working with youth and art in the community through various groups.
Amanda co-manages a large wizard themed event each summer, Order of the Owl Wizardry Camp. She has experience coordinating and entertaining for private parties as well as for a local fan-based con, where she is known for her characterizations, especially as a bumbling fortune reader and tasseographer. She personally favors creating art with charcoals, pastels and pencils, sculpting with paper maché, and theatrical makeup and costuming. With a focus of teaching children new skills and building their self-confidence, she currently teaches classes to her own children and others in the homeschool community. Amanda guides you through your special event, driven by the goal that this should be a memory your special guest can look back and smile about for years to come!
